Rudi Dundas is a fine art photographer living in Point Reyes, California. Nominated for a Lucie Award as International Photographer of the Year in 2014, she has a long career as a documentary and portrait photographer. Featured in the film, Botany of Desire, for her tulip photography, she traveled to Kazakhstan on horseback into the Tien Shan Mountains to photograph rare species tulips. Rudi worked for Peets Coffee, Blue Planet Network, The Samburu Project and US Aid, among others, throughout Africa and Asia. She has exhibited widely in Europe and the US, including the Manny Silverman Gallery in LA, and Corden Potts and The World Affairs Council in San Francisco.
Rudi owned and directed The InterArt Center in New York City from 1989-1995 and was on the Board of Directors of Artforum Magazine for over twenty years. She received a Masters in Fine Arts at San Francisco State and studied photography at the ICP in New York City. Her work is represented in many private and corporate collections across the US.
